Tourism

The aim of the course is to develop students' understanding of tourism as a complex system, the functioning of its elements and interaction with the external environment, the role of tourism in the national economy.
As a result of the course students acquire the ability to orient themselves in the activities of different tourism sectors, understand the specifics of tourism demand and supply, the importance of the tourist destination in attracting tourists, know and appreciate tourism development trends, understand the interaction aspects of the tourism system and its external environment, acquire, analyze and evaluate tourism statistics.
