English for specific purposes
This course is designed for Master’s students interested in pursuing research to improve their scientific writing skills. The course takes learners through the main sections of a typical scientific research article, providing strategies for writing the title, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, with a focus on grammar, style, structure, and useful phrases. The course is taught in online classes (30 h), supported by extensive e-learning resources for independent study. Students will also receive a free copy of the e-book English for international researchers (2021).
